Privacy Policy
ALMA Intelligence Inc. (“ALMA Intelligence”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian company committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law — including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector as modernized by Law 25.
Last updated: June 7, 2026
1. Scope & Applicable Laws
We serve businesses across Canada. PIPEDA governs how we handle personal information in the course of commercial activity in Ontario and most provinces. For individuals in Quebec, we also align our practices with Quebec's Law 25. Where we handle personal health information on behalf of a regulated client (for example, a clinic in Ontario subject to PHIPA), we act under that client's instructions and applicable health-privacy rules.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you share when you contact us, book a demo, or use our services. When you call an ALMATalk AI voice agent, call audio and transcripts may be processed to deliver and improve the service.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, through privacy-respecting analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to provide and operate our services, respond to enquiries, schedule appointments and callbacks, improve our products, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Consent
We rely on your consent to collect, use, and disclose personal information, and we aim to make that consent free and informed in line with PIPEDA and Law 25. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
Customer and call data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure and service providers may store or process data inside or outside of Canada; where a service provider processes data on our behalf, we seek to put appropriate safeguards in place consistent with applicable law.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to and correction of your personal information, ask us to delete it, withdraw consent, and — where Law 25 applies — request portability of information you provided to us. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Data Retention & De-identification
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which we aim to securely delete or anonymize it.
8. Contact & Complaints
Questions or requests about your personal information can be sent to contact@almaintelligence.ca, which also reaches the person responsible for the protection of personal information at ALMA Intelligence. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or — for Quebec residents — the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
